BIG NEWS

Keno and I are co-managing a fantasy baseball league team. This morning, BFlynn was so excited that he mailed out a screen capture showing that his team had taken first place. On April 23. In a fantasy baseball league.

Our team—Sweet Lou Whitaker—is in seventh, which is respectable given that we have absolutely no pitching and that Yahoo autodrafted two second basemen with our first and second picks of the draft. Which is absolutely ridiculous.

Fellow Tiger fan squad Chet Lemon is pulling in at a less respectable tenth.

  1. Kenny Says:

It would be nice if Verlander would stop single handedly crushing our pitching stats.

Hoffman comes off the DL on Sunday too.

And in fairness to yahoo, one of these second basemen was Ian Kinsler who has been an absolute monster thus far.

Single-handedly? Wang has been helpful too.

Also, I don’t care, a fantasy draft mechanism shouldn’t pick two guys to fill the same one slot with your very first two picks.

  4. zachary Says:

if you need outside help, im killing our fantasy league as you can see.

  5. Kenny Says:

maybe we should make an effort to trade phillips for some starting pitching

  6. indeedindeed Says:

    i don’t think i can bring in a co-co-manager.

  7. indeedindeed Says:

    it’d be easier if phillips wasn’t hitting a buck 74. we’re screwed.

  8. York Roberts Says:

In my work league I took Utley in round 1 (7th) and Pedoria in round 2 (14th).

Having two great secondbasemen is a brilliant strategy.
